Like I said, its not easy being a GM but sometimes you need to commit imo. Or it would also be nice to stop mimicking the Oilers.. I liked it better when the Flames were moves were surprises.. I remember Flames fans constantly laughing at Oilers fans for being "close" on players.
Lately, it seems like the Flames are pretty loose lipped.

Meh - “swirling around” is even less than “in on” IMO. For all I know BT just called and said “what’s the price” and that was that. Columbus would have been smart to leak it though - drove the price up.
