Definitely is probably something that he will have to work on; however, Chucky faced similar criticism, and his skating hasn't really impacted his effectiveness too much.

Was about to say this - every criticism of his skating hasn’t been “he’s slow”, but rather, a comment about an odd stride. Now maybe that translates into not being fast at the NHL level, but who knows.
