I want a GM that is in on everything - always looking for ways to improve his team - but very tight about spending assets, only pulling the trigger when he gets what he feels is a good price.
When did these become bad qualities in a GM? Because for me, they are mandatory.

Personally I think it’s more important that a GM goes and gets what the team needs vs. hunting for bargains. I do believe there’s a difference.
I honestly don’t see the value in “being in on everything”. I wish people would stop talking about it, one way or the other.
