Yeah I don't see that working without Carolina getting Vegas' 1st at a minimum.
Carolina ate Marleau's cap for a 1st ($6.25M), that's the market rate for dead cap space of that size (and it's $7M total over two years in this case, $3.5M per). I can't imagine anyone will be doing Vegas a favour here.
