Initially I agreed with this, but quickly checked track length, and Stampede Earlton is 700m and this new station would be 900m.
Other 900m stations:
SAIT to Lions Park
University to Brentwood
Shaganappi to Westbrook
There may be a few others, that's just what I checked.
