Goalies don’t go wire to wire with a single team. And the ones that are good don’t just stop being good for no reason.

Corey Schneider would be good if he had two working hips. He doesn’t. So he’s done.
Before I head into the list, let's just point out Holtby's career so far. He transitioned from a stud backup goalie into a vezina-caliber goalie for 3-4 years before falling off a cliff and being one of the worst goalies in the NHL over the last 3 seasons. As a starter in 7 seasons (playing more than half the team's games), Holtby has had 2 seasons in which he was average, 3 seasons in which he was incredible (his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years as a starter) and 2 seasons in which he was terrible (his 5th and 7th years as a starter).

Kipper was a career backup before being traded. Not comparable.

Roy never once had a season in his entire career in which he had a negative GSAA and wasn't an above-average goalie. Not comparable.

Fleury's last season in Pittsburgh was slightly below average, but the 4 seasons prior were above average. Then, he had an incredible run with the cinderella story of the year, followed by having a decent season and then a very bad season this year. He's now a cap dump. Not comparable.

Smith had one absolutely insane year in which he should've won the Vezina after going to Arizona, but before that he was never a spectacular goalie and bounced between average and horrible seasons after his one year. Not comparable.

Anderson really only had one bad season as a starter prior to these last 3 seasons. He's always been a pretty good goalie. Not comparable.

Belfour is really the only one with any sort of argument to be had for him.
