To Flames: Frost, 1st, Zemula, Gostisbhere
Flames trade Johnny home and add 3 pieces for the future and begin remaking their blueline. Frost, and Zumula fit the need of center and right shot D and they add another first round pick to the stable
To any team looking for a 3-4 C: Derek Ryan
To Flames: 3rd round pick
Flames dump cap and get a pick in a round they don’t have a selection
To Bruins: Hanifin, Mangipane
To Flames: Carlo, DeBrusk
This is the trade no one saw coming and a bit out of left field. Boston likes the hometown boy who comes with longer term security. Mangipane has a contentious negotiation with the Flames last summer that may have left a bad taste in the mouths of both sides. They move on just as the Bruins are rumored to be moving on from DeBrusk
Flames sign Markstrom 5.75x6 with a NMC. Flames get their guy and give him the security he desires and the team knows their goaltending plan for the next several years with this move
Flames sign Taylor Hall $8.5M x 7 years NMC/buyout proof bonus laden contract. Just like the Oilers with Lucic back in 2016 the Flames get one of the best free agents on the market but are forced to ante up an extremely risky contract that includes a NMC, and buyout proof bonus structure.
Hall-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-DeBrusk
Lucic-Bennett-Dube
TBD-Frost-TBD- Depth ufa signings or prospects fill the 4th line role
Giordano-Andersson
Valimaki-Carlo
Gostisbhere-Kylington
Markstrom
Rittich
Definitely a different looking team

At least give Kylington a partner who knows how to defend.
