Yeah, I agree that FE racing is far from ideal right now (bordering on terrible). But it's brand new. At the end of the day, and even if F1 can get to carbon neutral or negative, electric is the future for transportation. Manufacturers will demand it.

I would love to see F1 open up the engines to include hybrid, full electric, and hydrogen (@cecil I'd have to look into FE having sole rights to electric racing). I know LeMans has at least 1 or 2 hydrogen entries for their race next year I believe.

Again, I'm thinking 10yrs forward. The next 2 Concordes will be hybrid, after that IMO it will (and can only) be electric.
