Exactly, nobody wins the Superbowl in week 3, and really even a team that's 0-3 at this point still has enough runway left to get back into the playoffs. Especially this year with the early season being a bit different due to no pre-season and there being an extra Wild Card team.
Last year the Patriots looked unbeatable for 9 weeks. Even the Chiefs beat the Ravens in week 3, yet KC was the #2 seed in the playoffs and New England ended up the 3 seed and out before the Division round. Previous year New England beat KC in week 5 but the Chiefs still got the number 1 seed, New England still won the Super bowl. So even the head to head win this early in the past two years didn't even determine which team ultimately became the top seed.
That said I thought that game was going to mean a lot to the Ravens, they talked it up a fair bit. But they really didn't have it outside of that kick return, the score was closer than the game was. So for me that was surprising that they didn't play a more spirited game.
