At his age he's looking at his last "big" contract both in terms of years and AAV. (He's 31 after all, doesn't fit the Flames core honestly and would need to be protected)
I don't believe for a second he takes any less than 4M, and term he'll be wanting 4-5 years.
I personally wouldn't even sign him for 4 x 3.5 to play on our 3rd line but assume you would?
I feel we need to invest into point producing top 6 players/top 4D with our cap space, use the farm and prospects to round out the bottom 6.
Again this has ALL the makings of Brouwer 2.0 in my mind.
