Managing to sign Hall and Petro this off season and then flipping Gaudreau and Hanifin for futures would be an asset management dream scenario in my eyes.
Older and more expensive team sure, but it would still be a very competitive team and the prospect cupboard would be restocked nicely for the future.
I just don't see any way the Flames would be anywhere near Petro's radar at all unfortunately.
