I was listening to Hanifin on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast and the topic turned to guys getting free stuff when they play in a Canadian market.

Whitney told a story from his time in Edmonton when the Oilers gave Hall, RNH, and Eberle each a new Ford truck. The upholstery in each one was blue and orange with Oilers logos and the player's name all over the truck. They were able to drive the trucks for a year, then they were autographed and auctioned off.
