That would be drafting by positional need and not "best player available" which just isn't how they've done things under Tree.
The d-men that will be available around that pick will either be a huge reach (Barron, who is a 2nd rounder) or someone with a low ceiling (Schneider).
Connor Zary, Dylan Holloway, Jacob Perreault, Mavrik Brouque - they're all projecting way too good to not pick.
