Also pretty unlikely, Colorado has Burakovsky who will look to be paid handsomely after his strong performance in the regular season and an even better playoffs. Then Sakic will have Landeskog and Makar to lock up a year later. If Makar has himself a Norris calibre season next year, I could see a deal into the 8 figures range, so Sakic will have to keep that in mind. He can easily grab one guy, but I suspect the expansion draft could further limit his options as well.
