He is right that hanifin has been a 3-5 guy so far in his career, yes.
But again, no defenseman is a finished product at 23. Ever.
He is a great skater, plays physical, and has all kinds of untapped offensive talent. He is a perfect candidate to put it all together at some point and be a clear top-pairing guy.
Doesn't mean he will. But anyone who thinks he is what he is simply don't know what they are talking about.
