They might control their own destinies, but Tampa still holds some cards.
Killorn can be moved to a team not on his list pretty easily. His salary is decent, his contract isn't loaded with bonuses and the term isn't too bad. Tampa's cap situation and teams tightening their budgets will make this more difficult and could result in the Bolts not getting much in return.
With Palat only having 2 years left on his deal, the Lightning would probably consider a buyout of he refuses to waive his NTC; I imagine being bought out in the current financial climate of the NHL is not all that desirable as there are a great deal of questions on how much teams will be willing to pay UFAs.
Then of course, they can also move Cirelli who is an RFA due to a big raise and he could return younger cost controlled players
