I think Nenshi runs if there's no other candidate that could go against Farkas.

I don't think Davison needs any prodding to go for mayor. Pretty sure it was the goal from the get go. Councilor was always just the stepping stone necessary to position himself to run for mayor. Developers and business community ready with him.
