How much of an effect did last season have on Gaudreau's value as a trade asset?
His shooting percentage was down 6% from 14.6% to 8.6%, plus his total shots taken from the previous season were down by almost 15%. So it's not like his percentage got watered down by shooting more. That was with essentially the same coaching staff and line-mates. His shooting percentage was the 3rd worst on the team for forwards followed only by Quine and Reider.
If I was an inquiring team, that is a bit of a red flag. We might be over valuing him.
