Prior to the 2016 NHL Draft, the Flames had a deal in principle agreed to with the Lightning for Bishop – it’s unclear what would have gone the other way, but presumably it would have involved the sixth overall pick – but the Flames balked at Bishop’s contract ask (reportedly seven years at $7 million per).

I guess we'll just never know...
Yeah, I mean, they wanted to trade for a guy who had Calgary on his no-trade list and that guy wanted to be paid a crazy premium to play in a market he didn't want to be in and the flames were willing to trade Tkachuk to do it...
I'm getting light headed, I need to sit down.

Presumably it included 6th overall.
Doesn't mean it included 6th overall, but that is the guess.
Also, I am not sure what your current bitch is, are you upset we did not trade Chucky for Bishop?
Or upset that we almost did, but didn't actually do it, thus potentially almost made a mistake?
It is hard for me to follow your complaint of the moment.
