I'm not sure why Calgary is being connected to these defensemen. All Calgary needs is a bottom pairing RD. That is cheap and unexciting.

Calgary's main needs are Draft+1 or Draft +2 centre prospects that have as much ceiling as possible, and a goalie. The only way that the Flames are going to get that coveted #1C is to trade for him before he becomes a coveted #1C. And a goalie.

OEL and Dumba are all well and good. But, why?
