Unless the prospect in the Oilers rumour is Broberg, I don't see how that makes sense. 3 years of Neal for only a first seems a little light to get out of that contract. Cap wise I think Oilers add 250k, which isn't bad all things considered if it means getting out of Neal's contract.
Although starting in 21-22 OEL has 3 years of 10.5M real salary. Next season he gets 8M in reall dollars, so I can see why before 21-22 there is the push to trade him.
