Blaster we're just speaking from experience after having the first team with five 70 point players since the Pens in the early 00s.
Sustaining that high production is easier said than done.
And many times this past season I said to myself "boy the goals are coming extraordinarily easily for the canucks this year" mirroring the Flames previous season in a lot of ways. We could score at will, just like the canucks this past year, even with limited opportunities. And that's what got your team out of trouble in the regular season and more so in the playoffs.
I'm here to tell you dont expect that to last. Your team will need to learn to control and carry the play more than they have to sustain their success.
They're not going to keep making good on all their handful of chances when their chances are limited.
Its a heads up, not hating on your players. Don't expect secondary guys like Tofolli, Miller, Pearson to "easily" put up 50+. You'll be less disappointed when one or two of those guys suddenly has a harder time posting those numbers than you expected at the outset.
It's the nature of the beast/game. Nice season from the group though.
