Don’t know why you’d be in the market to give up assets for a big money defenseman if re-signing Brodie was an option. And it seems like there have been occasional whispers that Brodie wanted to go back east and there hasn’t been progress on a new deal. And of course he was dealt last summer before Kadri nixed the trade.
I guess we’ll see.
Pay Brodie $7M or trade assets for OEL at $8.25?
