Based on rankings, it should be an easier match for Genie on Friday as Kuznetsova is currently ranked #38. It's just good to see Genie playing some good tennis again. I know people are reluctant to get too excited because we have been down this road a couple of times before, but she seems to be putting in the required work (playing qualies and practicing hard according to reports) in the hopes of getting that ranking high enough to be an automatic entry into major tournaments.
