When do you think that well starts to run a little dry? Are you surprised he wasn’t allowed to buy out Neal? It would have saved real dollars and the bigger impact is to the management of the cap. That doesn’t sound like a vote of confidence.

Buying out or not buying out is more of a financial decision, as opposed to a vote or non vote of confidence.
Every GM operates within a set of constraints, known to them and ownership. Perhaps there are constraints around how many buyouts, the price of them, etc.
We don't know.
But I don't view that as a sign of confidence.
If they didn't have confidence in him - he would be fired.
