I’ve maxed 4 shadow Pokémon, and yes, the cost is crazy.

Shadow MewTwo - best neutral DPS in the game by far
Shadow Tyranitar
Shadow Gardevoir - really good attacker against dragon types with dragon moves that can be really painful against other attackers. The best in many scenarios.
Shadow Shiny Pinsir - it’s a shadow shiny. Also really good bug type attacker
