Shorter season, shorter contracts and shorter shelf life for NFL players in general? That could be a factor in them not caring as much where they play.
Of course also a more national league and so franchise value and prestige not tied to the city so much.
But it’s not like Vegas can go and sign everyone either. And are hockey players truly leaving meaningful money on the table to make such decisions?
