Hilarious that you would compare the NHL to the largest, wealthiest most successful sports league of all time. The NFL is on an entirely different playing field on which they can do things no other league can do.

It did help Vegas since NHL GMs for the most part aren't very smart so they they doubled up on the draft rules and gave them additional assets and picks on top of the favorable structure...

Again, no one gave them anything. It is not the League's fault that so many teams so badly botched the expansion draft to show VGK to take advantage.
