I really do think that a decision has been made and the organization is letting Ward decide his future, which is the large part of this “delay”...to give him time to figure if he wants to stay on as an associate or move on.
No way Treliving gets burned after 1.5 or less seasons by having another “players” coach get trampled on, as what happened with GG.
How it ended last year (last season and the last Fall with his resignation) seems to make people forget that Peters made this team the best in the West over 82 games.
Roster was unchanged this year and Ward never got them up to the same level of intensity.
But, they got to play music and soccer in practice again, so it was all ok.
