Brian Elliott and Mike Smith both owe their pre-Flames success (which isn't much) to Hitchcock and Tippett. Anyone could see their numbers coming down with the Flames.
Jonas Hiller was a trainwreck when he arrived here, that's not on Sigalet either.
Talbot actually did improve with the Flames, while the rest are simply bad goalies.

Fair. Sigalet may not be the problem as all of these goalies had warts to start with, but IMO it's also clear that he's not part of the solution.
Don't forget Sigalet plays a big role in the development of our prospects in net as well, and helps the organization in building development plans for our goalies.
Gillies, Parsons, and MacDonald were all highly touted coming out of junior. All three were goalies at the WJC level who had good success at that level.
And they just regressed once they joined the Flames organization. Once again it's not all on Sigalet, but he hasn't shown he's able to really help develop a goalie.
Really only Rittich has had any sort of success as a prospect...and even he has been really up and down in his time with the big club.
