I'm actually warming a little bit to the idea of Fleury. Two more years at 7M.
Basically, Andersson is getting Brodie's money, Fleury would get Hamonic's money, the extra 3M available probably goes to Mangiapane. So barring a trade where money is positive for the Flames, there is no cap left to sign Hall.
But if it comes right down to it, I think that Fleury would have a bigger positive impact than Hall would, and Calgary wouldn't be saddled with a seven year contract.
