Actually, this is due to an upgrade of the Glenmore Dam.
The upgrade is mostly complete, and you can expect the level of the reservoir to be this high whenever possible, for drinking water supply.
In the spring, the level will be dropped to prepare for floods, but otherwise (Summer-Early Spring), the reservoir will be as high as the river will allow (run-off + snow melt), up to 2.5m above previous crest of the dam (1m higher than now).
