The other issue with Nolan Patrick as part of the deal as well is that he's not expansion draft exempt.
So you're taking that risk, and if he has a good season then you also have to protect him which means you aren't protecting somebody else.
So as a bit of a "throw in" he'd be worth it but can't be one of the main components.
