I've learned the hard way to not trust 18 year old kids at their word when it comes to getting out of punishment
All in all it's a pretty nothing story to me. Kid did a dumb thing, cop said a dumb thing, journalist writes it in a way to create controversy given the climate surrounding the police at the moment
