And McLeod is ripe. His time is now. RHS RW/C with speed. PK usefulness. Whats not to like, these are players that fit in today. Keeps the window open. And cost controlled, and cheap.

Eh, I guess you could say McLeod's time is now. 14 goals in 108 AHL games and 0 goals in 33 NHL games doesn't give me a lot of hope, though. Both Zacha and McLeod were drafted under a now-gone and very unsuccessful Devils scouting staff that prioritized, above all else, "big."
I don't see the need for more centres like Zacha in the Flames' system when they're about to lose four or five defensemen. I'd rather address that. But I'll watch some film of Zacha, he does seem like the kind of guy Calgary might want. I'd certainly much rather him over McLeod.
Edit: by the way, Zacha had fewer hits this year than Sean Monahan.
