Yes, considering the exact situation the USA is dealing with right now, lets continue to ignore the obvious hypocrisy of Silver and the rest of the NBA in cozying up to China and ignoring the obvious human rights issues and genocide that is going on there.

Sorry, you can't have it two ways. Either you actually do stand for human rights, or you don't. You can't chose which to stand for.
The NBA is in a tough position because they don't exactly have a good foundation to stand on. That is why nobody gives a crap about what they're doing.
