Unpopular opinion: Andrew Mangiapane should be traded for a 1st round pick in this draft if Johnny Gaudreau is staying with the team.
Skilled, but small. Doesn't look as strong as Dube on his skates or on the forecheck. I believe this team needs to transition away from being a group of small players to just one or two highly talented small players. It also helps alleviate some expansion draft pressure.
If Johnny is getting traded, sure - Mang can have that small forward spot - but if Johnny is staying because he'll re-sign here, then I'd trade Mang for a 1st.
