This is a system that is strapped for talent and all the small college and European scores don't change that. When you look at the promotion rate, these players are inconsequential. Would have liked to have seen a larger discussion on this issue and really talk about the top players that Bingo is impressed with.

Thanks for the comments, appreciate it.
On drafting:
2015 - Andersson, Kylington and Mangiapane without a first round pick. That's a 2/3 defenseman and a top six winger, and depth.
2016 - Tkachuk, Parsons, Dube, Fox ... three arrived, and the fourth a goalie with a longer development leash. Then lower Tuuola and Phillips that are in the system and at least interesting.
2017 - Valimaki who is a player, and Ruzicka who is coming along ... only five picks
2018 - No picks in the first three rounds, but have Pospisil in the system, and Pettersson looking interesting.
2019 - only five picks but have Pelletier as a top prospect, Nikolaev as an interesting guy (only a year after draft so early to see), and the best goalie in junior hockey in Wolf.
How is that not successful?
