Nice job guys. I think you need a third voice in there, one that is not from the same bubble. You guys think too much alike about almost everything. A third voice with a different perspective would really help spurn a deeper conversation.

I agree with Jiri on the Johnny issue. Move him, but do so for parts that can support the current core. Draft picks are going to throw this team into chaos and likely force a full blown rebuild on them.

Bingo's comments on the better drafting by the team should have led to a bigger discussion. I don't think this claim is accurate. The team has started drafting guys that score points, but I don't see them as improving the system depth and number of potential players in any significant way. This is a system that is strapped for talent and all the small college and European scores don't change that. When you look at the promotion rate, these players are inconsequential. Would have liked to have seen a larger discussion on this issue and really talk about the top players that Bingo is impressed with.

Enjoyed the discussion on the coaching situation. I agreed with Jiri, its time to try a proven guy with a history of success. I liked Bingo's way of working through his thoughts on the current coach, but wish they had gone deeper into the assistants, especially the defensive coach who allowed things to unravel so quickly. Still a good conversation.

The defense conversation was interesting. I agree on Gustafsson. I wouldn't bring back Brodie, mostly because of the team culture issue. I think he's kind of okay with losing, so I would be okay if he walked away from the Flames.

I liked the discussion on Bennett, and obviously my thoughts are known on him, and I agree on giving him a shot at the third line center, but with an extremely short leash. I frankly see a player like a latter day Bob Nystrom, like 1980's Bob Nystrom. If he can play like that and contain himself in that type of role, he's a good value. If he thinks he's going to be anything more than a 3rd liner at this point, he's likely going to revert to Mr. Toe Drag and go retrograde again. Training camp and the first 20 games are going to make or break Bennett.

Some really good stuff guys. Kudos on the return.
