Not a recipe to make a big splash as far as trades as the prices should be high.
Jays also have a club option on Anderson for $9.5 million.

Early projections of the Jays 2021 rotation would be:

Ryu
Roark
Anderson
Pearson
XXXXX

For me, if the Jays add a pitcher via trade, I'd rather he slot in at or near the top as opposed to the middle or bottom. But I do agree that depleting the prospect base is not a good idea for any starting pitcher that the Jays can't control for multiple years.
