I thought my point was pretty clear - I set it out in the last paragraph. Even if you're only talking about unarmed people shot by police, you're still looking at a couple of times a month, in terms of it happening to black people, and obviously more often than that if you expand it to all races. If there are going to be riots and people hitting each other in the head with bricks and snipers on roofs every time that happens, there's inevitably going to be rather a lot of it, because there's always going to be another video just around the corner. Even if, through herculean effort, the rate at which this sort of event happens were to be cut in half, that would still be true. That does not seem like it bodes well for the near-term future stability of the USA.

It's actually your point that I'm not clear on. Murder is bad, people are angry, and social media has allowed people to broadcast these videos more broadly? I'm pretty sure we've all noticed.
