If every time a black person is shot by a police officer, the surrounding area devolves into anarchy, there's going to be a whole lot of anarchy going on for the foreseeable future.
I think you are entirely missing the point of the protests. The point is not that people are shot by police, it is that police murder citizens when they are not a threat. That their brutality goes totally unchecked. Add into that the systematic racism that causes black communities to interact with police more, and you have a whole lot of oppressed people.

There are millions of positive police interactions every year. There are plenty of justified police shootings. But the fact that social media can now amplify how many brutality incidents there are has really changed things. I shudder to think of how many incidents like these have occurred over the years and been glossed over with false reports. We've seen instances where they've still tried to lie their way out of it only to later have video evidence turn up that calls them out.

It's not a matter of minority communities just wanting to protest every time a person of color is shot. Many of these incidents are flat out murder. I know you are smart enough to know all this, so honestly what is your point here?
