- Rightfully so. Consistency will help.

2. Geoff Ward is hired as full-time head coach (2 year contract)
- I disagree with this move, but it is a "Calgary Flames move"

3. Brad Treliving "steals the show" at the NHL Draft by:
- Acquiring Taylor Hall's rights and signing him to a 7 year contract
- Acquiring Tyson Barrie's rights and signing him to a 6 year contract
- Trading Johnny Gaudreau and David Rittich
- Flames will draft more than once in the first round

4. Sean Monahan is not traded

5. Team drafts Connor Zary with the 19th OA pick
