1) Are you going to continue to watch the playoffs or are you going to pack in in and wait for the start of the offseason activities?

I never really pay attention much to the playoffs once the Flames are bounced. I will probably check the scores now and then, but doubt I will watch games, or even a lot of highlights.

2) How likely are you next year to dedicate a lot of time to watching Flames hockey?

Same as ever probably.

3) Would you consider yourself a die hard flames fan, a interested flames fan, a casual flames fan?

Die hard, but I don't get as high or low as I used to. Back in the day, a playoff round ousting would have made me pissed for a while, but now I don't care as much. Nor was I super enthused after beating Winnipeg.

4) What would it take for you to switch team allegiances?

The Flames would have to relocate or disband for me to care about another team. I would probably just quit the NHL altogether at the point though.

5) Do you think that the on ice product that is provided by the NHL a) Its great hockey don't change a thing b) Its not a great product, I watch it because there's not a lot out there or I feel obligated c) I'm thinking of being done with the NHL.

I think it is overall a great product, but I really hate the shootout still. I don't get why ties were so bad to some people. They could have just made OT 10 minutes instead of 5. With 4-on-4, or (ugh) 3-on-3, ties would become very rare.

There also has to be a better way to officiate the game. Like if the bird's eye sees something blatantly obvious to cause or negate an infraction, they should be able to override the refs. It's ridiculous to me that with the tools available, we rely on what the refs are able to catch, while people at home yell at their TVs.
