If Brodie is interested in 3 years at similar money then sure but no to 5-6 years at a significant raise. He had a nice year but he is also has been a whipping boy for more than one year of the last 5 years.

Who are you going to replace him with, then?
They have basically nobody in the system and every other UFA dman (other than Pietrangelo and Krug, who will both cost a ton) is worse.
He was a whipping boy because he was being played on his off side with Wideman and Hamonic, two below-average dmen.
