If the Flames don't want to rebuild (which they probably don't) and they can't get a top 6 C for Gaudreau or Gaudreau + then I say get on the horn with the Caps who most certainly won't be rebuilding and see if something can be done where Gaudreau for Tom Wilson are the two main pieces being swapped.
Find a way to trade for Josh Anderson as well and put Lindholm back at center FFS.

..would be a pretty stellar retooled forward group. (Sorry Bennett fans)
Not sure if there is cap left for the D and goaltending though.
