Just because "the Hurricanes were happy to see him go" means nothing. Good/great coaches get fired all the time.
You are clearly reactig with emotion only with that last statement.
All of which, regardless, doesnt change the fact BT has only hired 2 HC's.

Who cares about Hockey Canada? Bob Nicholson came from there, and look at what he's doing up in Edmonton. I guess Brad Treliving was high on him, because he just hired him without proper due-diligence and without searching the field properly.
Neither of which have won a playoff series, and have been embarrassed in the playoffs all three times they've made the playoffs.
Yeah, I'm reacting emotionally - and honestly, I'd like to see the Flames organization act with some emotion. They don't. They're an unemotional, flaccid on-ice team.
Get pissed off about being a crap team. It's okay to do that. Look at Torts. Dude is an emotional coach but damn if he doesn't get a lot of his players.
What do we get? Some goofy mis-placed sense of pride because the team won a qualifying round against a non-playoff team and because they're battle tested.
They've failed every meaningful test they've ever taken at the NHL level. Frustrating as a fan. Deflating.
