That was technically Brian Burke’s only draft as the “GM” of the team, and I think size and grit was clearly a priority of the leadership team in that draft.
You can see the strategy under Treliving has been much better since then focusing on skill and high talent, issue is we haven’t had enough picks in the top 3 rounds because of the Hamonic, Smith and Elliott trades.
