Just a fitting ending to an incredibly frustrating and baffling era for this organization. Flames finally get a good performance for the team and the team goaltending blows it. A veteran with a Stanley Cup ring blows it for the team with turning point of the game. I have no words to describe what transpired tonight or in this series.
Really, there are no words to describe the last 2 playoff series (not Winnipeg). Blown leads, failed execution, thoroughly outplayed, reliance on great goaltending, star players outplayed badly and on and on and on. Big changes will be made and deservingly so. All the promise of 2015, goes up in smoke without much to show up for.
