I don't really have an opinion on whether to blow your team up or just patch. For my guys, some long term contracts would have to be moved, and I would think that that would be true for your guys, too.
All I can say is, that I am grateful to have seen some competitive hockey in the late summer doldrums of August. As a Cub fan,and in normal years, my guys would have been also-rans by now, and preseason NFL is usually a joke.
At the very least, there are some things to be addressed for both of our teams, before whatever we get for a 2020-2021 campaign, and this playoff experiment highlighted what will be needed to be fixed, for any near future post seasons.
And whatever is in store for the Flames or the 'Hawks, we can see that 2 superstars and a sense of entitlement is further away from success than either of OUR teams can achieve!
